mr. drs. Gerard Vergouw graduated in 1997 at the Radboud University Nijmegen mastering Intellectual Property, Civil Law and Legal Anthropology
In 1998, Vergouw graduated at the Rijks University Leiden mastering: Immigration Law, Law and policy in Developing countries, American Constitutional law, International relations, Human Rights Law and United Nations
Attorney at Law:
From 1998 until the present day Vergouw worked as an attorney at law in Apeldoorn, Aruba, Nijmegen, De Meern (Utrecht) and Arnhem. He handled case law in area's such as: Family Law, General Civil Law, Administrative Law, Criminal Law and Immigration Law. His practice now specializes in Refugee Law and Immigration Law.
mr.drs. Vergouw worked part-time at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Costa Rica.
Vergouw also gives yearly guest lectures at the United Nations mandated University for Peace Studies in Costa Rica.
